As installers of hardwood floors for over ten years, we realize that moving large heavy items (especially refrigerators) across your newly finished floors can be a frustrating task. The potential for damage to your hard work and investment makes it an anxious event.  Every year we get those calls from homeowners who made the mistake of moving their fridge and other heavy appliances across their finished surface only to be devastated by the damage.  Usually they explain the precautions they took ( carpet, padding, cardboard etc.) but the result is always the same- a costly repair.

Not only did we see the need for a homeowner-friendly method for moving these items but as installers we also wanted to make our job easier as well.  Today many homeowners are taking on the task of installation themselves making the need for a product even greater.
